Helping yourself, helping your ummah

Water project

The Water Project is a registered nonprofit organization based in Concord, New Hampshire.

About 1 in 4 people worldwide — roughly 2.1 billion people — still lack access to safely managed drinking water services. This is a luxury we often take for granted.

The water project's mission is to provide sustainable access to clean and safe water through community-focused solutions and education.

Domestic violence shelter

Domestic Violence: A Critical Need for Shelter and Support
More than 10 million adults in the U.S. experience domestic violence each year, and 1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men will face severe partner violence in their lifetime.

Emergency shelters and support programs provide lifesaving refuge, but the demand far exceeds the resources available — for example, in California thousands of survivors seek help each year while many are turned away due to limited shelter space. Tens of thousands of survivors and their children rely on shelters and services for safety, counseling, and support as they rebuild their lives.
